The Yom Tov collection has all been published but, as 2019 ends, there are some changes coming! The collection is already beginning to go wide. That means retailers beyond Amazon will have editions for you to buy. That includes Nook/B&N, Kobo, and iBooks among others.
Purim Fling has gone wide! This means it’s no longer part of Kindle Unlimited and has been added to Kobo, Nook/B&N. and other major retailers.
The Matzo Ball Billionaire will do the same at the end of December. You can preorder it now on Nook/B&N and Kobo.
The other two novelettes will go wide through 2020.
The Complete Collection is already on Amazon and will be there for about six months before it goes wide. I did this primarily so I could begin production on the audiobook. There is a paperback edition of the complete collection but you can only get that from me at events or, for locals, at The Artisan’s Exchange in Chelmsford, MA.
Saturday, November 30th from 2-4pm will be the Woodhouse Hall Launch Party. If you’re in Chelmsford, MA you can join us in person.
Come to KJ’s Caffee at 118 Chelmsford St. in Chelmsford to enjoy cupcakes, muffins, and coffee. Sara will have copies of all her books, including short story anthologies like Mill Pages and Dangerous Curves Ahead. A special, only available at this event, paperback copy of the complete Yom Tov Jewish Holiday novelettes series will be available for sale.
There will be games, a giveaway, and a chance to talk with Sara about her current and future books!
Woodhouse Hall’s trailer is out and the cover is revealed! You can now order the ebook on Amazon, Nook, and Kobo. More retailers coming soon. The book will be released on October 28, 2019. Pre-sale price is $0.99, but after the release, it will go up to $2.99 so order your copy now! The paperback will cost $11.50.
Amelia is stuck in the worst dorm on campus for a whole year! She’ll have to make the best of it in Woodhouse Hall and her roommate Jenna will be her new best friend, Amelia’s sure of that. Jenna’s sweet personality and openness to new things incite the matchmaking-genius in Amelia to find the perfect boyfriend for her new bestie. She shoots high by attempting to entice Eric, the President of the Student Government, to fall for her roommate. Amelia’s past success makes her confident they will be a couple in no time. When that turns out to be a disaster, she is forced to face the lies she’s told herself about her strengths and her assumptions about the people she loves. Over the year, Amelia learns who she is, what she wants, and how to fight for what’s really important.
This novel, inspired by Jane Austen’s Emma, will have you laughing, crying, and finding a little of yourself in one or all of the characters.
I’m very excited to let you know that my short story “Open to Negotiation” is included in the Dangerous Curves Ahead anthology! The collection is full of sexy and erotic stories about women who celebrate their diverse bodies. My story focuses on Lydia, from Phi Alpha Pi, who has come through but still lives with the trauma she experienced in my novel. This is years after those events and she’s a much more mature woman. Sparks fly when she meets Marcus and has to figure out if their relationship is professional, personal, or a little bit of both.
Every February is International Correspondence Writing Month (InCoWriMo). People are challenged to send 28 handwritten letters to people around the world. Some send them to people they know; some coordinate online and agree to send to specific people; some pick random people from online lists and hope they will get a response. Amber has randomly picked Kyle’s name for one of her letters. He lives in Portland, OR and she lives in Nashua, NH. She’s thrilled when he writes back and seems to be just as interested in a pen pal as she is. This starts a year’s worth of exchanges between the two as they navigate being friends through only letters and then struggle with their shifting feelings, something they both struggle to convey to the other. The story ends a year later, each evolving in unexpected ways.
All supporters get to read (and sometimes influence) the rough drafts of letter exchanges between Amber and Kyle. There will be at least one exchange of letters a month as well as polls to help determine elements to move the story forward. The more you contribute, the more involvement you’ll get. The final novel, once edited, will be published in 2020 for others to buy, but supporters have the chance to give enough to get the final version in either ebook or paperback as well as swag created to promote the book. Higher levels will be able to give feedback on cover design, swag options, and pick the next project when this one is over. There will even be bonus content, from Sara’s other works, for extra reading!
